Nice old gold pinned 1955 Amperex! “Los Gatos” wasn’t a tube manufacturer but a private label used by Lewis & Kaufman in Los Gatos, CA. In the early 1980s they bought New‑Old‑Stock tubes from makers like Raytheon and Amperex, then re‑boxed and re‑stamped them with the “Los Gatos” name (e.g. 6922/E88CC types, 6189/E82CC pairs, 6SG7, etc.)
